Description

The Offutt Air Force Base Contracting Office requests industry comments on the Draft Request For Proposal (RFP) for Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) contract at Offutt AFB, NE. Request all comments concerning Draft RFP be submitted by no later than 4:00 PM Central Standard Time (CST), 20 May 2005 via email to jean.hinton@offutt.af.mil. The Government will take into consideration any comments received by 4:00 PM CST on 20 May 2005. If appropriate, responses will be posted. Source selection procedures in accordance with FAR Part 15.3 and DFARS Part 215.3 shall be utilized. The successful contractor will be selected using Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. The performance period will be one basic year and four option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220, with a small business size standard of $28.5 Million. Tentative date for solicitation posting is 27 May 2005. PAST PERFORMANCE QUESTIONNAIRES WILL BE DUE NO LATER THAN 10 JUNE 2005. The Draft RFP may be subject to change upon release of the final RFP. THIS IS ONLY A NOTICE FOR THE POSTING OF A DRAFT REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR INDUSTRY COMMENT. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL PROPOSALS UNTIL THE FINAL RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. This in no way obligates the government to award any contract.
