Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for a single award five year IDIQ contract for ?lanyard start assembles? IAW NAVSEA baseline drawings 7265912 rev D and associated drawings. The base year quantity of 654 each includes 4 first articles samples, 20 periodic samples, with the balance as production units. The four option year quantities are estimated at 500 each per year. Waiver of first articles will be granted for previously proven sources. This acquisition?s drawings involve technology that has a military application. Only U.S. Contractors who are registered and certified with the Defense Logistics Services Center (DLSC), Federal Center, Battle Creek MI 49017-3084 (1-800-352-3572), web site: http://www.dlis.dla.mil/default.asp, and have a legitimate business purpose may participate in this solicitation. If you are registered and certified with DLSC, you must submit a copy of the approved DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data ! Agreement, with your request for the drawings. Required delivery of the production units will be within 30 weeks after date of contract award. NAICS code 332995 applies. FOB Destination: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Keyport, WA 98345. Inspection at source and acceptance is at destination. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued 19 May 05. The closing date of the solicitation is anticipated to be 20 June 2005. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 15. When issued, the request for proposal (RFP) will be posted electronically via the NECO website and on the NUWC Division Keyport, Acquisition Division website. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to HendricksonMJ@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror! experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFP/amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting quotes must: (1) complete the pricing, (2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation, (3) manufacturer information of proposed items and (4) ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov). Notes 1, 8, and 26 apply.
