Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Contractor shall provide Certified Medical Coder(s), Certified Coding Specialists (CCS), Certified Coding Specialist(s)  Physician Based (CCS-P), Certified Professional Coder (CPC)(s) , Registered Health Information Administrator(s) (RHIA), and Registered Health Information Technician(s) (RHIT) to code, abstract, analyze and assemble medical record data. Coders will assign diagnoses and procedure codes for Inpatient Treatment Records ( ITR), Inpatient Rounds (RNDS), Ambulatory Procedure Visits (APCs), and Outpatient Clinical Data. The Contractor shall provide services in Government-supplied facilities at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, also referred to as (WRAMC) and, when required , shall code for the Pentagon Medical Treatment Facilities (MTF). The Contractor shall furnish all labor and materials except as provided in Section A-3. Performance shall be according to the requirements contained in this PERFORMANCE BASED WORK STATEM ENT. The contractor shall use alternate remote/electronic coding systems to code/abstract medical records to include scanning of medical records for off-site coding support to achieve workload requirements in the area of Ambulatory Care (Outpatient) Visits and Inpatient Treatment Records (ITR).
