Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Medical and Regional Office Center is looking for a contractor/provider to furnish full Rheumatology services for the period of July 1, 2005 through September 30, 2005 with two one year renewal options. The contractor shall provide Rheumatology services for in-patients and out-patients at the VA Medical Center, Togus, Maine. Services will be provided three days a week or as needed. Work hours will be 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The work to be performed must be provided by a physician who is board certified/eligible in Rheumatology and must have an unrestricted medical license. He/she must be qualified to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with rheumatologic diseases according to standard, usual, and acceptable methods and techniques and be ACLS certified. NAICS code is 621111. This procurement is set-aside for Small Business. Solicitation will be available on the website on or about 5/6/2005.
