Description

The Princess ampground Accessible Campsite Renovation project consists of the reconstruction or realignment of 7 parking spurs, renovation of 39 campground living areas and construction of 335 feet of pathway to toilets. Works also includes installation of one gate, 39 fire rings, 39 picnic tables, and 16 potable water hydrants with with sumps and grates. Demolition and removal of old fire rings, tables, and hydrants (with sump) will be required. The project is located on the Hume Lake Ranger District of the Sequoia National Forest. From Fresno, CA drive east 80 miles on SH 180 proceeding through Kings Canyon National Park then into Sequoia NF on SH 180 to Princess CG. CG entrance is on the right-hand side of the road. Turn right at the CG entrance sign. The CG has three loops in it and all three loops contain work in this contract. Govt Price Est: Between $100,000 - $250,000. Desired Start work date: Sept. 15, 2005. Contract Time: 75 Days. Pre-Bid is scheduled for May 24, 2005.
