Description: This project consists of striping and numbering parking lot stalls located in several parking lots at the Defense Supply Center Richmond, 8000 Jefferson Davis Highway, Richmond, Virginia 23297. In addition, the contractor is required to paint all Handicap symbols, directional arrows, crosswalks, gore lines, and hashed lines located in the parking lots or other locations that are shown on drawing. Contractor to paint over all existing painted lines. All previous crosswalks, numbering or lines with thermoplastic tape shall be removed and replaced with approved paint. All work shall be accomplished on week-ends and holidays. Schedule of work, including parking lot or lots and time frame for each lot is to be submitted to the Government prior to work. All changes to the contractor schedule will be submitted to the government 48 hours prior to start of work. Contractor to furnish all barricades needed to protect work area. All work shall comply with OSHA and CENTER regulations and performed under the Virginia Department of Transportation Road and Bridge Standards 2004. All work to be coordinated with Facilities Engineering Division (POC Bill Youmans 804-279-4696 or John Ellis 804-279-4592) and performed in accordance with Specification No. FEO 0031/05 and Defense Supply Center Richmond Drawing No. 4243 and job location and description list.
