Description
Vessel(s) Required: U.S. or foreign flag self-sustaining RO/RO or combination RO/RO ? LO/LO vessel that is fully capable of self-loading and discharging. Vessel must have a minimum capacity of 10,000 square feet to transport about 65 pieces totaling approximately 545 short tons of military cargo (containers, tracked vehicles, wheeled vehicles, trailers, and assorted rolling stock). Under deck stowage is required for all vehicles. Vessel is required to have a slewing stern ramp or quarter stern ramp. Vessel must have a minimum 15 ft. ramp opening height and minimum 15 ft. deck heights. Minimum required speed is 8 knots laden in moderate weather.
