Description

The US Army Medical Command Center for Healthcare Contracting (CHCC) has a requirement for hospital housekeeping services at the Patterson Health Clinic and outlying buildings, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey; Troop Medical Clinic and outlying buildings, F ort Dix, New Jersey. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, training, transportation, equipment and materials necessary to provide housekeeping services in accordance with JCAHO, OSHA, and MEDCOM standards and regulations. The e stimated combined square footage of all facilities is 118,665 square feet. The contract base period will be from 01 October 2005 through 30 September 2006, with four 1-year options. The North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code/size is 561720/$1 4M. This requirement will be solicited as an 8(a) set-aside. Solicitation offerors must meet the required minimum corporate experience. Contractor corporate experience requires that the firm have gained experience in hospital housekeeping services as a result of being regularly engaged in the business of providing housekeeping services in healthcare/patient care environments (e.g., inpatient, outpatient, ancillary, surgical, and dental care). The minimum level of acceptable experience required is 24 mon ths within the previous 36 months from the date initially established for submission of proposals. Periods of creditable performance may have been incurred at more than one site for at least 12 consecutive calendar months at each site and could not have b een gained at two or more sites concurrently. The solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps website at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 18 May 2005. Any prospective offerors will be able to download the solicitation from the website. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held, the date, time and location of which will be provided in the solicitation.
