Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice requesting information needed by the Government prior to the release of any potential solicitation. This is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award a contract. The Bureau of Land Management, Eastern States, located in Springfield, VA is seeking sources capable of determining the estimated number of wild horses and the estimated number of wild burros, which the market can absorb per year, via adoption over the next five years. Totals are needed on a state by state basis and a regional basis, for the 31 states east of and adjoining the Mississippi River. The market study should identify the geographic center points of the most likely regional, and individual state locations where adoption events would maximize the market potential for wild horses and the market potential for wild burros, by calendar year quarter, for the next five years, in the 31 states east of, and adjoining the Mississsippi River.
