Description

This a Sources Sought Notice for Laundry Services. The Philadelphia VA Medical Center is conducting market research to identify small businesses capable of providing laundry services to the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. Businesses must have the ability to provide laundry services for the following estimated annual quantities of (soiled pounds): 57,000 lbs from Veterans personal hampers. Cleaned linen is folded and returned to individual patient rooms and placed in their personal closets at the NHCU. Hospital General linen ? 1,978,056 lbs. Services shall be performed six (6) days a week. (Monday ? Saturday) Delivery and pick up of soiled linen and a turn-around processing time of twenty-four (24) hours. The linen will be picked up and delivered to the loading dock. Interested businesses should mail their respond with their company name, address, contact name, telephone number, fax number and capabilities in writing to Debra Fisher, 90C, VAMC, University and Woodland Avenues, Philadelphia, PA 19104 by COB 5-9-05. DO NOT respond by e-mail. No solicitation documents exist. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR BIDS. THE PHILADELPHIA MEDICAL CENTER IS NOT SEEKING PRICING OR OFFERS OF ANY KIND. THE PHILADELPHIA VA MEDICAL CENTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SOLICIT THIS SERVICE FROM A LARGE OR SMALL BUSINESS AS APPROPRIATE.
