Description

The Bureau of Land Management intends to enter into the LaPine Stewardship contracting project with private persons or other public or private entities to perform services to achieve land management goals for public lands that meet local and rural community needs. TheLaPine Stewardship Contract is located six miles north of LaPine, Oregon. Items of work include: 220 acres sample leave tree marking; 2,200 acres pre-commercial thinning; 1,540 acres mechanical slash reduction/removal; 120 acres handpiling and burning; 120 acres machine piling; 120 acres pile burning; 6,120 ccf biomass hauling for utilization; 10 acres tree pruning; 10 acres transportation management; 200 each snag creation; 2,200 acres precommercial thinning; 6,600 mbf of commercial product removal. This solicitation will be posted electronically. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is June 10, 2005. This is set aside for small business concerns.
