Description

Furnishing all labor, equipment, supplies and materials (and utilizing Government-furnished materials), to construct three livestock pipelines on Bureau of Land Management property. The Work Data Sheet lists the project locations, approximate quantities, and locations of the contractor and operator furnished items. Within this requirement, the government will be including 2 (two) Bid Schedules. Only one Schedule will be awarded depending on price and best value to the Government. Bid Schedule A will be for (1)--TRENCHING (common), backfilling, and compacting approximately 26,400 linear feet; (2)--Trenching (rock) backfilling and compacting approximately 4100 linear feet; (3)-- Installing approximately 12,500 linear feet of Class 160 PVC HDPE, SDR-11 1-1/2 inch pipe; (4)-- Installing approximately 18,000 linear feet of PVC Class 200 or HDPE, SDR-9 1-1/2 inch pipe, (5)-- 8 (eight) 1 inch curbstop assemblies; (6)--Six (6) air relief valve assemblies; and (7)-- Eight (8) hydrant assemblies. Schedule B will be for (1)-- PLOWING (common), backfilling, and compacting approximately 29,900 linear feet; (2)-- plowing (rock) backfilling and compacting approximately 600 linear feet; (3)-- Installing approximately 12,500 linear feet of HDPE SDR-11 1-1/2 inch pipe; (4)-- Installing approximately 18,000 linear feet of HDPE SDR-9 1-1/2 inch pipe, (5)-- 8 (eight) 1 inch curbstop assemblies; (6)-- Six (6) air relief valve assemblies; and (7)-- Eight (8) hydrant assemblies. The contractor will have 53 days to complete the project after the Notice to Proceed is issued. The cost estimate for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Awards over $25,000 will require payment protection in the form of Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond to be received within 15 days of notification of award. The proposed award is 100 percent set aside for small business concerns. The solicitation will be available on May 10, 2005. No hard copies will be sent.
