Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation RFQ20403-0023-05. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) is 423850. The size standard is 100 employees. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The Government intends to make a single award for a firm fixed price order to the responsive/responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous offer to the Government based on price and price related factors. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. REQUIREMENTS: All items quoted must be brand name or equal and must be suited for placement in a correctional environment. FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal is incorporated into this solicitation. Quotes are requested for the following items: Item No. 001 - Milnor 35-40 LB Capacity Washer/Extractor, Model 30015V7J, with EP-Plus Microprocessor, 10 Pre-Programmed Formulas Fully Adjustable with 20 Additional Formulas Field Programmable, 685 RPM Highest Extraction Speed, Single Motor 6 Speed Inverter Drive, Stainless Steel Shell and Cylinder, Universal Temperature Control, Automatic Liquid Supply Injection, Electric Spec - 480/3/60. Item No. 002 - Milnor 135-140 LB Capacity Washer/Extractor, Model 42026V6J, Open Pocket Non-Tilt Unit Solid Mount Machine with EP-Plus Microprocessor Controller, 30 Programs, 600 RPM Highest Extraction Speed, 6 Speed AC Frequency Inverter Drive, Stainless Steel Shell and Cylinder, Universal Temperature Control, Automatic Liquid Supply Injection, Electric Spec - 480/3/60. All utilities required for proper operation of proposed equipment including all final connections will be provided by the Government. Offerors are to provide a copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with their quote. This provision is available to the offeror online at http://www.arnet.gov. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database prior to receiving any award. Information concerning CCR requirements can be accessed at http://www.ccr.gov. Offers are due no later than May 2, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time.
