Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. We have a requirement for a rough terrain vertical mast forklift, brand name Manitou or its equal. The following specifications apply: 10,000 lbs. basic capacity, 80 HP four cylinder diese l engine, tilting operators compartment, full instrumentation, heavy duty steer axle, sideshift mast, hydraulic load accumulator, 4 spool valve, two front and two rear worklights, back up alarm, tow pin, four wheel drive with four speed torque convertor t ransmission, 100 lowered height open cab, standard fixed steering column, high back seat, dust bowl cyclonic precleaner, 15.5 X 25 L2 drive tires, over the road 12 X 16.5 steer tires, 20 degree forward  15 degree back tilt cylinders, 2 stage mast 102 h eight lowered  123 lift height, 84 wide class III carriage, and 72 pallet forks. Award will be made to a single offeror. This requirement is set aside 100% for small business. This is a best value award based on price, past performance, and non-pric ed factors. The applicable NAICS code is 333924 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. If you are selected, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov/) in order to receive the award. If you are not in the CCR at the time we are ready to make the award, you will be disqualified. Payment will be made by Government Credit Card. Your price shall be FOB Destination White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination.
