Description
Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract for a Main Vehicle Maintenance Workshop at Nachshonim Storage Base Israel. The project will consist of construction of a Main Vehicle Maintenance Workshop near Nachshonim Israel. Nachshonim Storage Base is located approximately 20km east of Tel Aviv, Israel. The Main Building will be compete with electrical, metal and storage areas, maintenance areas (i.e. Lubrication Area, Diagnostics Area, Vehicle Washing Area), Administration and utility areas, parking areas, e tc. The project will include general infrastructure, main x-y crane in the main building, lifts, electrical gates, ramps for lubrication and washing, underground and aboveground oil tanks, compressed air system, sprinkler system, backup generator, commun ication system, and furniture. The proposed facility construction will be administered under Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and United States procurement laws and regulations. Contract will be awarded and paid in U.S. dollars. Under the Wye River Accords, this procurement is restricted to United States firms, Israeli firms OR United States/Israeli Joint Ventures. In addition, construction materials must be manufactured in Israel, to the extent such materials satisfy contract requirements. Contractors may bring into Israel nationals of the U.S and third countries having diplomatic relations with Israel for the purpose of accomplishing the work. Responses are desired from firms who can demonstrate recent experience and excellent past performance in construction of similar facilities. The qualifications of the construction firm will be evaluated. The estimated cost of this combined project is est imated to be in the range of $5,000,000 - $10,000,000. The period of performance is for 425 Days. The estimated solicitation date of this contract is 16 May 2005. You will be informed when and where you may obtain a copy of the solicitation doc uments as well as details on the site visit. Plans and specifications will be issued on CD ROM only and limited to one (1) set per contractor.
