- Description
- The Goverment intends to procure conference rooms, lodging and meals under Full and Open Competition procedures. This requirement shall be procured in accordance with Simplified Acquisition procedures. Hotel shall be able to accommodate 18 single rooms with check in starting on 21 May 2005 and checking out on 25 May 2005. The hotel shall not be greater than 20 miles from the Joint War fighting Center, Joint Forces Command, Suffolk, without passing through the tunnels or over bridges. The hotel shall provide large complimentary operations room, complementary hot breakfast, free wireless internet access service, free telephone service, free high-speed internet service in all rooms, 24-hr business center and the hotel shall have personal laundry facilities on site. The hotel shall provide a social to accomodate 60 people. The hotel facility shall be FEMA approved and listed on the U.S. Fire Administration Hotel and Motel National Master List at http://www.usfa.fema.gov/hotel/search.cfm.=20. The hotel facility must be compliant with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (Public Law 101-336) (42 U.S.C.12101 et.Seq.). The FSC code is V231 and the NAICS code is 721110. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request For Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website http://www.neco.navy.mil. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.bpn.gov. The RFQ should be posted on the website on or before 28 Apr 05.
