- JOB DESCRIPTION: This is a design/build project; the offeror chosen will complete the design and construct the facility. The work consists of the design and construction of a new complex of facilities located in the Missile Assembly, Maintenance, an d Storage(MAMS) area --- controlled entry area. Included are several structures: 15,823 SF(1470 SM) one-story Administration and Test Lab Propellant; 4,607 SF (428 SM) one-story Propellant Machining Shop; 1,614 SF (150 SM) one-story Inert Storage facility ; and an earth-covered 2,077 SF (193 SM) Haymen Igloo. The facilities shall be of permanent construction. The concrete pads for each of the facilities of the complex will have specific coordinates that must be met to meet DoD Explosive Safety Board crite ria. ESTIMATED COST RANGE OF PROJECT: $5,000,000 - $10,000,000 This Procurement will be conducted under FSC CODE: Y199, SIC CODE: 1542, NAICS Code: 236220. The size standard for this code is $28,500,000. OFFERORS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS.
