Description
SITE VISIT NOTICE: Sponsored by the Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center, Logistics Support Squadron, Defense Meteorological Satellite Program, Peterson AFB, Colorado Springs, CO is hosting its first site visit forum on the MARK IVB Follow-On System Sustainment acquisition. This event is scheduled for Wednesday, 18 May 05 from 8:30 am to 1200 pm (EST) at the LOCKHEED MARTIN CORPORATION located at 230 Mall Blvd. King of Prussia, PA 19406-1342. The meeting point will be the Visitors Center located outside the gate. It is intended to give offerors an opportunity to receive further information on the MARK IVB follow-on system sustainment acquisition, and to provide feedback. Specifically, the purpose is to view the various Government Furnished Property including the Test Bed, Antenna tour, Radio Set Satellite, and the High Resolution Geostationary Antenna. The tour will begin at 0830 and continue until 1100 hours with a one hour session for questions and answers after the tour. The tour will include climbing stairs, and walking. Picture/Video equipment will not be allowed. The classification for the tour is unclassified and attendance will be limited to two (2) personnel per company/team. All notifications of attendance must be submitted via a Visit Request and include the following information, for each attendee: Name, Place of Birth, Date of Birth, Social Security Number, Clearance Level, Investigation Date, Date of Visit, Purpose of Visit, and Point of Contact, which will be Capt Marsh. The Visit Request must be signed by your respective Security Officer. Also indicate if you are a large or small business. Notification must be made, by e-mail, by Wed, 04 May 05, to Capt Shawn S. Beauchamp at shawn.beauchamp@cisf.af.mil. In addition, this notice serves to inform the public with notice that the draft agenda has been posted to the MARK IVB webpage available at https://www.cisf.af.mil/mkivb where among other information you can also find the Draft Statement of Work (SOW). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government. Verbal responses will not be accepted. As a final note, another site visit to the Hawaii operator location is anticipated to occur on 14-16 June. A notice announcing the schedule of events for this subsequent site visit will be posted to the FBO thirty (30) calendar days prior to this site visit.
