- Description
- The Theater Systems Integration Office-Europe (TSIO-E) has a requirement for Contractor-provided audio/visual equipment and services to research, develop, upgrade, install, fabricate, procure, transport, test, operate, maintain and support new and ex isting federal, non-federal, and international Government platforms, systems, subsystems and items. This broad range of effort includes technology insertion, systems integration and systems engineering; installation; incidental construction; hardware and software fabrication; test and evaluation, studies and analyses (other than research and development), technical data management; logistics support, training; acquisition support; and research and development. Fieldwork may be performed on-site anywhere in the United States, the Middle East, or Europe. Engineering and operational and demonstration testing may be performed by the contractor, therefore adequate contractor space and facilities are required to accommodate Government and end user participation. The contract will be indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ), with an initial task valued at approximately $200,000 and a maximum ceiling of $25,000,000. Individual task orders issued under the contract may be classified up to Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI), requiring that the contractor maintain a facility clearance. Initiation of performance under the resulting contract is required within 15 days of award, with performance of the initial Task Order to be in Afghanistan and the task requiring a Top Secret clearance; necessitating that the contractor have an existing Secret facility clearance and cleared personnel at the time of award. The contract will be issued for a period of performance of up to five years. Task orders is sued under the contract will be firm fixed price and fixed price level-of-effort, at the discretion of the Government. The solicitation will be issued by being posted on the Space and Missile Defense Command website at www.smdc.army.mil. (Once at the site, click on Business. Click on Solicitations. Click on Request for Proposal (RFP). ) The solicitation number is W9113M-05-R-0018. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued 21 days from the publication of this announcement. This acquisition is set aside for small businesses. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541512 and small business size standard is $21,000,000. Proposals will be due as specified in the solicitation; but, for planning purposes, it i s anticipated that proposals will be due within 30 days of the issuance of the solicitation, with past performance information due within 15 days of the issuance of the solicitation.
