Description

The National Data Buoy Center (NDBC), Stennis Space Center, MS has a requirement for a glass ball floatation assembly, 17 inches in diameter with a protective hardhat assembly. This requirement is for 300 assemblies. The assembly must meet the NDBC Standard Specification for Glass Ball Floatation. The specification and RFQ are included as attachment links under this announcement. Shipments shall be delivered FOB-Destination to Stennis Space Center, MS. All documentation and certifications shall be delivered to and approved by NDBC prior to any shipment. FAR 52.225-1, Buy American Act-Supplies, and FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds apply to this acquisition. 52.232-18 Availability of Funds (Apr 1984) Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government?s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
