Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) is seeking Hotel Accommodations, Conference Space, Meals and Audio/Visual equipment located in the Phoenix, Arizona area. (This is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services). The Period of Performance for this requirement is June 19-24, 2005 and August 20-26, 2005. Written quotations will be required. All responsible sources that can meet the requirements and provide items as listed above may respond to this solicitation by submitting cost, technical aspects and descriptive literature. For a quote submitted by a quoter that is not a hotel, the quoter, not the hotel, is to be considered the prime contractor. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, National Institute of Corrections is sponsoring two training conferences on the topic of “Executive Leadership for Women Training.” The hotel must accommodate 20 sleeping rooms and block an additional 5 lodging rooms for staff, lodging rates must be equal to or less than, the Government Per Diem rate of $75.00. Hotel accommodations, conference and required outdoor space must be on the same locale. The hotel facility must be compliant with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (Public Law 101-336) (42 U.S.C. 12101 et. Seq.) and be approved on the U.S. Fire Administration Hotel and Motel National Master List found at http://www.usfa.fema.gov/hotel/search.cfm . Adequate, comfortable lounging areas, outside the classroom and sleeping rooms for personal reflective time; small group and individual problem solving and personal Journaling opportunity. Safe, secluded, private, outdoor space, grassed area, to accommodate two groups of ten (10) to twelve(l2) individuals to execute team building activities; this area must be at least 2500 plus square feet. The Dining area must be separate from the public and classroom area and accommodate up to 30 people. Solicitation posting will be April 14 or 15, 2005.
