Description
The Government is performing Market Research of potential sources interested in the following requirement: Installation and Testing of up to thirty (30) Miniature Multiple Threat Emitter Systems (Mini-MUTES) upgrade kits. Contractor can elect to install and test the kits either in-plant or at the sites: Snyder, TX; Pecos, TX; Melrose, NM; and Colony, WY. Testing will be accomplished per the procedures in ESD22890 and performed before and after the installation effort. Contractor shall perform the following as required per Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) 43D7-19-3-506: 1) Remove obsolete cables or modify existing cables; 2) Modify equipment and enclosures as specified; 3) Install new equipment and modified assemblies; 4) Dispose of removed/replaced parts. The following major equipment will be installed by the contractor as required per TCTO 43D7-19-3-506: 1) Enclosures LRU Mounting/Slide Hardware; 2) Modem/Barometer; 3) Remote Computer Processor – RCP; 4) ECM Receiver; 5) Air Handler with new Plenum; 6) Power Meter; 7) Frequency Counter; 8) IFF Receiver; 9) Voltage Regulator Kit; 10) Processor Kit; 11) BITE Patch Panel AZ and EL Servo Cards; 12) Universal Camera Mount; 13) Signal Distribution Panels. The Upgrade Kits (equipment listed above), TCTO, test procedures, special templates, and transportation of the equipment, will be provided as Government Furnished Property/Equipment/Information. Special tools/fixtures and materials will be required in order to perform the efforts outlined above. These are to be supplied by the potential sources. A list of these items will accompany any subsequent solicitation. The purpose of this request is to survey the marketplace and develop a listing of interested potential sources for the listed requirement. Respondents to this Sources Sought Synopsis will be retained in the files and provided a copy of the Request For Proposal (RFP) when issued. Responding to this synopsis in no manner guarantees a contract will be awarded to the respondent or for the installation effort itself. Replies from interested potential sources must be received by 06 MAY 05.
