- Description
- This is a combined CBD/Synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items will be utilized for this acquisition. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is HSCG40-05-Q-400009. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-01. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Coast Guard has a requirement for the following RCS Texsteam, Inc. parts: 1.) P/N MAR-120-1.25-4 18 MT 2.) P/N MAR-90-5-4XSWT 3.) P/N MAR-50-2-4 8MT 4.) P/N MAR-50-2-4 8MT 5.) P/N MAR-90-5-4 5MT 6.) P/N MAR-50-2-4 18MT. The manufacturer is RCS Texsteam, Inc. and the U.S. Coast Guard ELC intends on obtaining pricing directly from the manufacturer or its authorized distributors. Brand Name Only!! Quotations shall include unit price, proposed delivery in days (after receipt of order), your company Tax ID number and DUNS Number. Each item shall be packaged individually in accordance with standard commercial practice. Each box/crate shall, as a minimum, contain the item name, weight, order number, and NSN. Marking shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-129 (Barcoding is NOT required for this requirement). Delivery shall be FOB Destination, Baltimore, MD 21226. Delivery is DESIRED 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). Offeror should provide delivery schedule in terms of calendar days aro. NOTE: Offer must specify if shipping costs are not included and indicate origin. Offerors are instructed to include a completed copy of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.212-3, "Offerors Representations and Certification--Commercial Items (MAR 2005)" with their quotation. A copy of clause 52.212-3 is provided as an electronic attachment for offerors use to submit a Quotation package. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this Request for Quotation and are incorporated by reference: FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items (JAN 2005). The following addenda is added to 52.212-1: (1) Paragraph (b) -- SF 1449 is provided as an electronic attachment for offerors use to submit a Quotation package. FAR Clause 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration (OCT 2003) is incorporated by reference. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items (OCT 2003). FAR Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999). All responsive and responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by this agency.
