Description

CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH ALL LABOR, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, PLANT, MATERIAL, PARTS, TRANSPORTATION, TESTING SERVICES, QUALITY CONTROL, AND INCIDENTALS NECESSARY FOR: PERFORMANCE OF THE SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION OF BASE ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS (SABER) GENERAL PROGRAM AT TINKER AFB, OKLAHOMA The contract period of performance consists of (1) Basic year plus (2) 1 year Options. Work requirements consist of accomplishing a broad range of facility maintenance, repair, alteration, renovation and new construction projects on real property at Tinker AFB, OK. The Tinker AFB SABER General contract program’s primary goal is to achieve swift acquisition of Civil Engineering requirements by providing quality projects for the government whereby Contractor responsiveness and execution is paramount. SABER General Contractor shall provide diversified construction services for a one (1) Basic year period with two (2) possible one year option periods to extend the basic contract period at the discretion of the government. Each construction project will be awarded by an individual delivery order issued against the basic contract and shall specify work that may include a variety of project scopes and disciplines such as: demolition; earthworks and landscaping; civil; asphalt and concrete pavements; structural; architectural; masonry; various roofing systems; mechanical; plumbing; heat generation; petroleum/oil/lubricant systems; communications; intrusion/detection; audio/visual systems; electrical disciplines; environmental and hazardous abatements; aerial and underground utilities. Contractors must be certified with the SBA office as an 8(a) general contractor. The bidder must be capable of providing the necessary bonding required within the contract documents. Bonds will be required with each individual delivery order issued against the basic contract. Magnitude of construction is over $10,000,000 for the combination of the basic and 2 option years. This acquisition is restricted to 8(a) Competitive Set-Aside in the State of Oklahoma only. One Firm-Fixed Priced Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity contract will result from this solicitation. This serves as a combination Synopsis and Pre-solicitation Notice as required by FAR 36.213-2. Any contractor receiving this as a pre-solicitation notice and does not want to receive future pre-invitation notices should advise this office.
