- Description
- The FAA is seeking competent and qualified small business contractors to perform construction of Four (4) new Airport Surface Detection Equipment Model X (ASDE-X) Remote Units. SEE ATTACHMENT for expanded statment of work (SOW). The estimated price range is between $500,000 and $900,000. Contractor performance time is 30 days with a construction start date of June/July 2005. Bonding will be required in the amounts of 100% Performance Bond and 50% Payment Bond. Insurance requirements at this Airport are between $5M and $10M. NOTE: Only contractors which can demonstrate prior experience at a large scale metropolitan airport, Level 12, will be considered for this project. Information obtained from the attached Screening Information Request(SIR) Application will be utilized in determining the firms that are qualified to perform on this project and receive a Request for Offer(RFO). Upon completion of the evaluation process, only those firms determined to be qualified will be sent a Request for Offer. Interested firms must complete and submit the attached SIR Application along with pertinet information and mail to Guadalupe Gonzalez, FAA, AGL-55A, 2300 East Devon Avenue, Des Plaines, IL 60018 or via e-mail to guadalupe.gonzalez@faa.gov BY 4/18/05.
