- This is Request for Information only. The Government requires a source for continued production of the FBCB2 V4 Installation Kits and Cables used to install the FBCB2 Appliqu? Computers, as a part of the Force Twenty-One, Battle Command, Brigade and Below (FBCB2) System. The government intends to acquire approximately 6,000 to 10,000 Installation Kits per year, for the various military platforms, which each require a unique installation kit. Each Installation kit configuration must interface with an FBCB2 Appliqu? computer being installed into one of approximately 45 vehicle platforms. The FBCB2 Applique Computer is a ruggedized computer system consisting of a CPU Unit, a display unit, a removeable Hard Disk Drive and detachable Keyboard unit. Offer ors may view a detailed performance specification as attachments located on the IBOP website https://abop.monmouth.army.mil entitled FBCB2 V4 Installation Kit Performance Specifications Version 1.5.2, dated 4 May 2004 and FBCB2 V4 Performance Specification s number FBCB2-V4-001, version 3.1b, dated 2 October 2003. Offerors must prove that the environmental and interface requirements identified in the specifications have been met with actual test data in order to be considered. The Government POCs are, Mr. Steven Huie, 732-427-0322, Mr. Joseph Hill, 732-427-2862 and Mr. George Buchwald, 732-427-2063. This effort is anticipated to be a modification to the Installation Kit contract Number W15P7T-05-C-J208 awarded to Northrop Grumman Mission Systems on 7 March 2005, to increase the ordering ceiling on this four year In definite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract from 13,000 by an additional 25,000 to 38,000 IKs plus cables and other ancillary support item spares on an IDIQ basis. This acquisition is to support the PM-FBCB2 ongoing fielding efforts in support o f the war time operations of OIF and OEF, and to support the Full Rate Production (FRP) phase of the program. Contract Number W15P7T-05-C-J208 was awarded to NGMS, pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 ( c )(1) and FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible S ource, per J&A Control Number 04-130 approved 30 April 2004. The Government intends for this contract modification to be sole source to the incumbent, Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NG), located in Carson, CA. The contract type is Firm Fixed Price (FF P) for the Installation Kits, Cables & other ancillary spares of hardware. Contract modification is anticipated in June 2005, with deliveries from this ceiling increase of additional Installation Kits hardware in December 2005. Delivery of kits will begi n 19 weeks after an order is placed with deliveries anticipated at Ft Hood, Ft Lewis and other locations. Respondents should specifically address their capability to provide the above mentioned Installation Kit hardware by submitting actual test data of k its that meet the referenced specifications in order to be considered.
