PRON: AX5C0365AX, NSN: 3040-01-228-1728, PN: 145D1306-3 QUANTITY: Min: 24 /Max: 72, this is Base Year Plus 2 100% Options Contract, applicable to the CH-47 Air frame, with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. This item is restricted to The Boeing Company Cage: 77272 and Northstar Aerospace Cage: 22907. This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source (s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government rights or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of second so urce part in the intended application. Adequate technical data package, data review discloses that required data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be economically obtained. This is a Critical safety Item that requires First Article Testing, Endurance & Interchange Test. Production Lead-time with a Contractor First Article is 24 each, 246 DACA. Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approv al in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation requirements. The closing date annotated is an estimated date a nd may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective em bassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. NOTES: 23 and 26.
