Description

The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), the Department of Defense Medical School and Health Sciences University, hereby announces its intent to award a sole source purchase order to Invensys-Pritchett, Inc. in Beltsville, MD to provide on-site support services on the existing Network 8000 system and the GUI software, which are vital components of the HVAC system at USUHS, for a period of one year with four one-year options. Invensys-Pritchett, Inc. is the only Factory-Authorized Independent Field Office in the Washington-Baltimore Region for Invensys Building Systems which represent the Network 8000 System. Only the Invensys Factory-Authorized Representative is authorized to purchase Network 8000 DDC equipment. The firm provides factory-trained engineering, networking, programming, graphics generation, system installation, commissioning, and follow-up services for all its end user product lines including the Network 8000 System. The statutory authority permitting this award under other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), as cited in FAR 6.302-1 that authorizes USUHS to award contracts when only one source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
