Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO), Washington, DC, will be issuing VA 101-05-IB-0015 IFB for its liability insurance coverage for approximately 75-government-owned motor vehicles in the VA Driver Rehabilitation Program at all participating VA medical centers. The services are for coverage of third party liability for all clients referred to the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Driver Rehabilitation Programs. Government employees are excluded fro this contract and are covered under provision of the Federal Tort Claims Act. Insurance coverage shall be automatic during the time clients are involved in the program. The contract performance period will be for one year, with four one-year options. The subject IFB is scheduled to be released on or about April 18, 2005.
