Description

The VA Medical Center, Cincinnati Ohio intends to negotiate a sole source, firm fixed price contract with Baxter Healthcare Corporation, McGaw Park, IL for the purchase, installation and training of the Accura Hemofiltration System. For this procurement, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423450. This system is capable of providing blood flow rates at 30 to 450 ml/min, delivery of fluid rates up to 10 L per hour and is capable of handling up to 20 L of solution. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within twenty days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer, VA Medical Center, MDL 90C, 3200 Vine Street, Cincinnati Ohio 45220 or via fax to (513) 475-6334. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the VAMC Cincinnati will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Baxter Healthcare Corporation. Government-wide Numbered Notes - 22.
