- "The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) intends to award a sole source contract to HI-TEST Laboratories. This contract will require HI-TEST to provide Shock and Vibration Services to the Navy's Super High Frequency (SHF) AN/WSC-6(V)9 terminals. HI-TEST will perform shock and vibration services in accordance with MIL-S-901D Grade A and B shock requirements and MIL-STD-167A vibration requirements. The contemplated order will require the contractor to commence performing these services immediately after order award. The expected award date of this order is July 1, 2005. The Government is not soliciting proposals in response to this synopsis. Sole Source authority 15 U.S.C. 657a (HUBZone Act of 1997) and FAR Subpart 19.1306 (HUBZone Sole Source Awards) will satisfy the agency requirements. See FEDBIZOPPS note 22.
