Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Contracting Office: Department of the Air Force, Air Force Material Command, Aeronautical Systems Center, C130 Systems Group, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45344. Notice of intent to Award Sole Source to: Honeywell Aerospace Electronic Systems to provide periodic updates to the C-130J Communication/Navigation/Identification (CNI) System occurring every 28 days. Intention: Award a FFP contract with 4 option years for the above mentioned updates directly with the company Honeywell Aerospace Electronic Systems. Justification: supplies or services required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all proposals received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
