- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICICTATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS Solicitation Number: FA4809-05-Q-0200 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, and FAR FAC 2005-01. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and is issued as a request for quote. This solicitation reference number is FA4809-05-Q-0200, is a Request for Quote (RFQ). This RFQ is being submitted as an unrestricted acquisition open to both large and small business. The government intends to make this award based open market competition. This purchase is for the acquisition of the following items: Line Item 1: Rent two (2) dump trucks for runway construction for a period of six months. Trucks must be 5 ton, single axle, with automatic transmission, model year 2002 or newer. Time Period: approximately 1 April 05 - 30 Sep 05. Bid must include all applicable delivery fees to and from the site at the Dare County Bomb Range, Dare County, NC. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. Quotes shall address all requirements in this combined synopsis/solicitation, and shall provide clear evidence of understanding, ability and willingness to comply with the Government?s specifications of need. Please include any available prompt payment discounts in your quotes. The Government anticipates awarding one order resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation. Award will be made to the responsible quote whose offer, conforming to this combined synopsis/solicitation, shall be advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considering best value for the Government.
