Description

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) seeks a contractor to operate an on-site 300-seat food service facility and kiosk located at NRC?s Two White Flint North Cafeteria located at 11545 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD. The contractor shall provide a high quality food service operation with a wide variety of food and non-alcoholic beverages, and other items at competitive prices. The NRC will provide the necessary space, major food service equipment and furnishings, water and utilities to operate the cafeteria. The NRC will award a $0.00 commercial item contract. All food service operations shall be on a profit or loss basis, with no commissions or rental payment to the NRC. The period of performance will be one year with four one-year options. A solicitation is expected to be issued on or about April 8, 2005. This proposed business opportunity is open to large businesses, small businesses, and small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. The size standard for this solicitation is average annual receipts of $17.5 million over the past three years as set forth under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 722310.
