SOL: 261-0226-05 Due: April 22, 2005 Request for Proposal ? Trash Collection The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole-source contract for the collection of solid, nonhazardous waste at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, Menlo Park Division. Contractor to provide all labor, transportation, parts and expertise necessary to fulfill requirements. Competition in Contracting Act (CICA) and Resource and Recovery Act (RCRA) regulations require the Government to make a sole-source award to the established local franchisee for this type of utility. NAICS Code is 562111, size standard of $10.5 million applies. Period of Performance: May 1, 2005 through April 30, 2006 with plus (4) four one year options. Telephone requests will NOT be accepted.
