Description

The Federal Correctional Institution, Tucson, Arizona, intends to make an award for Parenting Instructor for the period of 10/01/2005 through 09/30/2006. The Parenting Instructor must have a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree and at least one year experience teaching and using current parenting theories or four years experience teaching current parenting theories. The class schedule is as follows: 16 (two-hour) sessions taught in English to males; 16(two-hour) sessions taught to male inmates in Spanish; 23(two-hour)sessions taught in Spanish and English to females inmates; 23 (two-hour) sessions taught in visiting room, and 2 (two-hour) sessions in support groups. Classes will be held every other Wednesdays from 6:00p.m. through 8:00p.m. The contractor will provide all supplies and materials. The contractor will identify and facilitate the use of community-based volunteers. The requirement will be set-a-side 100% for small business. All responsible sources may submit a bid. The anticipated availability of the solicitation will be April 11, 2005.
