Description
The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to acquire services for the modification of the Versa Systems, Ltd. (VERSA) Electronic Forms (eForms) Application. SSA has recommended design and architecture changes to the VERSA application to enhance its overall responsiveness and to standardize it among all VERSA-supported Disability Determination Services (DDS) sites. The modifications sought include the following: 1. Keep static form templates on the local AMS server. 2. Keep FormSelector.xft on the workstation. 3. Maintain data files on the AS400 (centralize the environment in all Versa states). 4. Make all eForms components (XFT, XFD, etc.) reside on the Interactive File System (IFS) of the AS400. 5. Maintain a current copy of the following components on the user workstation: Formselector.xft; Form .xft files (one per form Form .xml files (one per form); Scripts 6. Do not move files between folders to track file status. Use a table to track form status. Collapse multiple folders into one; Extend the use of eForms status table to legacy business processes; Adapt eForms XML to a single folder process; 7. Pre-populate XFD with database elements prior to invoking eForms. The prospective vendor will have to have access to an AS400 development platform that is compatible with the DDS hardware and software environments. The vendor must have unfettered copyright and development access to VERSA?s eForms application, or other copyright and development access belonging to VERSA. The vendor must be able to deliver the software modifications in accordance with timelines required by SSA.
