Description

NSN: 4933-00-867-6607, Part Number 7799773. The Government has a requirement to purchase an estimated 600 each over the next three (3) years for use on the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System. The item to procure is a Boresight, Optical. The item is an elbow type, 5-Power, sight containing a reticle and roof prism housing made of aluminum to produce an erect field of view, not less than 80-Angular Mils. Shaft is made from corrosion resistant steel. The aluminum parts require an anodic film or black oxi de finish and item is approximately 7.50 inches x 6.0 inches x 1.37 inches in size. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 18 Apr 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronicall y as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside.
