This serves as a notice of intent for The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to purchase the Publication of the CVH Conference Manuscript from Elsevier Inc, San Diego, CA 92101. Solicitation number is 2005-Q-01878. This is not a request for quotations, this notice is for informational purposes only as required by the FAR. Elsevier, Inc., is the only source known to the government that can provide a the required publication. This action is pursuant to 41 USC 253(1) and under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The requirement will be procured as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12.102(c) under the test program. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
