The following question has been asked: Technically, the advantages of a 15 micron pix el pitch is negligible when compared to a 20 or 25 micron pixel pitch focal plane array; In fact, a reduced pixel pitch often degrades system performance. After more research the Government will accept a 25 or less micron detector pitch.
