Description

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport RI has a requirement to procure three (3) HLF-1E Transducers. These transducers will support the Acoustic Augmentation Support Program (AASP). A proposed sole source action with Hydroacoustics, Rochester, NY is anticipated. Hydroacoustics is the original manufacturer and owns the proprietary rights to the HLF-1E transducer. The HLF-1E is the only transducer currently capable of interfacing with the AASP hardware system. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. Required delivery is 10 Months after Contract Award.
