Description

The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to perform demolition, excavation, construction of a zoned compacted earthfill embankment, construction of a chimney and blanket filter drain system, installation of a concrete encased reinforced concrete pipe outlet, installation of a precast concrete gate tower, installation of a sluice gate, construction of a concrete intake structure, placement of rip rap and bedding on the dam face and outlet basin, placement of road gravel, construction of a concrete flume structure, repair of two existing weir installations and site reclamation. The work is located in northern Blaine County, Montana. This requirement is open to both large and small businesses under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The period of performance is 162 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bonds will be required as follows: Bid Guarantee - 20% of the bid price, Payment and Performance bonds - 100% of the contract price. The solicitation will be available by electronic posting only and may be found at www.fedbizopps.gov. Bidders will be required to print the bidding documents for submission of their bids. The solicitation documents will be posted on or about April 5, 2005. Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation, and register or update their registration at the Online Recpresentation and Certification Application website at http://orca.bpn.gov.
