Description
#17 DESC: The United States Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command-Warren (TACOM-Warren) will be issuing a sole source Request for Proposal (RFP) for further additional level of support for System Technical Support (STS) functions. This effort will increase the option by 100,000 hours and the period of performance will remain the same as on the base contract. This effort will acquire additional System Technical Support (STS) services for the M44A2/A3 series 2 ? ton trucks, M809 series 5 ton tr ucks, M939/A1/A2 series 5 ton trucks and M915 series trucks. The services may take place in CONUS, Kuwait or Iraq locations. The objective of this effort is to continue the following STS services: general engineering, testing and test support, field servi ce support, design and engineering analysis, configuration management, engineering change proposals, engineering release records, configuration status accounting & engineering records, drawings, fabrication of hardware, computer aided design, standardizati on, parts control, specification, packaging, quality assurance, manpower, personnel & training integration (MANPRINT), safety, maintenance, provisioning, logistic management information and publications (to include ETM and IETM). Each task to be performed will be Work Directive driven. This will be acquired by a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) modification to Contract DAAE07-03-C-L114 with AM General LLC. The period of performance for this effort shall be completed by September 30, 2006. This requirement will be solicited by letter. Issuance of a formal solicitation is not anticipated. While this RFP is being issued on a sole source basis, any interested parties may request a copy of the letter RFP by sending an e-mail request to janet.joudas@us.army.mil. All solicitations issued on or after 1 Apr 1999 require offerors to submit offers paperless: only electronic format will be accepted. Contractors will be required to submit their response in one of the following electronic mediums: via e-mail, 3 inch disk or 650 megabyte CD ROM. Offers/bids are to be emailed to janet.joudas@us.army.mil. The subject line of the email submissions must read Offer-W56HZV-05-R-0417 Closes 02 May 05. Maximum size of email offers shall not exceed 3.5 megabytes. Compressed f iles must be self-extracting and have appropriate instructions to open. Hard copy responses will not be accepted. Please make sure this agency has been furnished with the following additional information: CAGE, Company Name, DUNS Number and the email add ress where you would like the notice sent. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contract Registry prior to receiving any award. See the website http://ccr.edi.disa.mil/ccragent/plsql/ccr.welcome for information on how to register. The estima ted release date of the letter RFP W56HZV-05-R-0417 is 01 Apr 05 and the estimated closing date for Receipt of Proposals is 02 May 05. Number note 22 applies.
