Description

This is the second pre-solicitation notice. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, located at Atlanta, Georgia will issue a solicitation to construct outside and interior mechanical loops at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Tallahassee, Florida. The successful contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment and expertise for this construction project. The estimated magnitude of this project is more than 10 million. This requirement is a total 100 % small businesses set-aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 237130, which contains a size standard of $28.5 million. The period of performance for the resulting contract is 365 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered at www.ccr.gov. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The projected issuance of solicitation IFB31402-0034 will occur on or after March 22, 2005, and will be distributed solely through the General Service?s Administration Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/.
