Description
The New Mexico VA Health Care System (NMVAHCS) intends to negotiate a Commercial (FAR Part 12), (Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR 13) firm-fixed priced, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantities, non-personal services contract for Health Care Resources in accordance with Public Law 104-262 and the authority of Title 38 USC Section 8153 through a request for Proposal for non-restrictive solicitation. The NMVAHCS, 1501 San Pedro Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108, is seeking a qualified resource to provide a Network Pharmacy Services in support of a the NMVAHCS Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) in various locations throughout the state of New Mexico. The facilities to be serviced are located in Farmington, Gallup, Raton, and Silver City, New Mexico. The NMVAHCS will seek proposals to provide prescription filling services (first fill) for acute conditions deemed to be urgent prescriptions for VA beneficiaries as prescribed by VA physicians assigned to the VA CBOC. The qualified resource will fill and dispense drugs listed in the VA National Formulary (VANF), http://www.vapbm.org/PBM/natform.htm. The qualified resource that fills and dispenses the prescriptions MUST be located within a 10 mile radius of the listed VA CBOC. Multiple awards will not be made. The contract period is projected to be a base year from award of contract, with the Governments option to renew the contract for two (2) optional 1 (one) year periods. The estimated requirement is for approximately a combination of 6600 prescriptions to be filled per year for all locations listed. The solicitation document with incorporated provisions and clauses will be made available on or about March 18, 2005. The solicitation will be available electronically at: http: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/cgi-bin/WebObjects/BosPublic.woa. Any amendments will be available at the same URL and offerors will be responsible for obtaining all amendments. Electronic offers will NOT be accepted. Emergency medication shall be dispensed in quantities not to exceed a fourteen (14) day supply. Refills will not be honored. The solicitation will be released on or about March 18, 2005 and close about 21 days thereafter. Any questions must be sent in via fax at 505-248-3206. No telephone requests will be accepted. The anticipated total cost for this contract is estimated to be between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 including base year plus all option years. NAICS Code is 446110.
