Description
NOTE: This is a request for information only and all information received will be for planning purposes only. The CECOM Acquisition Center does not intend to award a contract on the basis of your responses nor otherwise pay for the preparation of any information presented or the use of any such information. All proprietary information should be marked as such. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for repair, depot maintenance and production of spares (LRUs-SRUs) for the AN/MLQ-40(V)3 Countermeasures Detection System (Prophet). This is not a solicitation for proposal or an invitation for bid. Th e current source for these services and spares is Titan Corporation, San Diego, CA. The Government is in possession of only a limited set of detailed technical data (consisting of Government drawings and technical manuals). Titan Corporation is in posses sion of approximately 65% of the detailed technical data (consisting of drawings and technical manuals). The repairs and maintenance would take place at the Contractor's facility, which would serve as a depot to send and receive spare parts for repairs. Production of spare parts of the Prophet Sensors would be purchased on an As Needed basis. Respondents capable of providing these services for these systems must indicate by writing to Commander, USACECOM, Attn: AMSEL-LC-IEW-R-TB, Building 1201W, Ft. Mo nmouth, NJ 07703-5015. The response must include documentation of current or prior experience demonstrating ability to repair and-or overhaul military Intelligence Electronic Warfare (IEW) systems built to Government drawings and production of spare parts for IEW systems built to Government drawings. Respondents may be required to warrant that the systems repaired-overhauled and the spare parts built would satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. For additional information, contact Ettore Ciaffi, (732) 532-4508. The deadline for responses is 31 March 2005.
