Description

Project consists of the construction of a new visitor center/headquarters building with a limited amount of site development for the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge, Oak Harbor, Ohio. The main floor will be approximately 6,400 square feet finished with an open two story lobby; approximately 4,900 square feet second floor unfinished; and approximately 400 square feet unfinished third floor. The building will consist of a concrete foundation and floor slab, wood frame construction, fiber cement siding, cultured stone veneer, wood trusses, either asphalt or metal roof, aluminum clad windows, a geothermal heating system, plumbing, electrical, and security systems. Optional items include framing and finishing for second and third floor levels, elevator equipment, and casework on the first and second floor. The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This procurement is issued unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656, and is NOT set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 236220, Administrative Building Construction, with a size standard of $28.5 million.
