Description

The Bureau of Land Management has a requirement for construction contract under simplified acquisition procedures. Project price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The work consists of Mobilization, traffic control, Type F delineator (17), relocation of road sign (1), pavement sawcut (775 linear feet), hillside excavation (1,370 cubic yards), placement of Class 2 aggregate base (70 cubic yards), and traffic striping (200 linear feet). NAICS 237310. Project site is located at the Bodfish Exit off Highway 178 in the town of Lake Isabella. Estimated start work is May 2, 2005 and performance time is 30 calendar days. Bonds are required - Bid Bond: None; Performance Bond: 20%; and Payment Bond: 100%. Work will proceed upon approval of Encroachment Permit of Caltrans. The RFQ BAQ050009 will be posted on or around March 23, 2005. Prospective offers must have a Duns and Bradstreet number http://www.dnd.com and be registered in CCR, at http://www.ccr.gov, prior to award of the RFQ.
