Description

Project No. A-05-105, Repair Roof of Bldg No. 915 at Camp Zama, Kanagawa-ken, Japan. This project includes (but not limited to) (1) taking samples of suspected asbestos board sheathing (testing service is not included in this project), (2) architectural work for reparing high school gymnasium roof, (3) minor electrical work, and (4) removing and disposing the asbestos contained material if the sample test results indicate the representation of asbestos. Notice to Proceed (NTP) shall be issued on or before 16 May 05. However, the actual on-site work period shall be between 1 Jun 05 to 3 Sep 05. The contractor shall use the period between NTP date to the specified commencing date of on-site work for preparatory time (site survey, submission of material approval, ordering materials, etc.) Performance Bond (100% of contract price) is required for this project. The offeror is also required to submit Past Performance Information for the most relevant 5 contracts to this project by 22 Mar 05. The site orientation is scheduled for 18 Mar 05, 1000 hrs. All offerors are encouraged to participate. Participants will meet at Main Gate, Camp Zama, Kanagawa-ken, Japan.
