Description

Repair/replacement of interior finishes, penetrations, and seals is required at the USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Arthropod-Borne Animal Disease Research Laboratory, Laramie, WY. For a copy of the solicitation fax a request to 970-492-7031. Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work to repair/replace the interior walls and ceiling finishes, penetrations, and seals in the Large Animal Isolation Building (LAIB). Contractor shall prepare the surfaces, remove existing epoxy paint and sealant off existing surfaces, repair minor defects, apply new epoxy paint, sealant, etc. Security requirement. The LAIB is a Biosafety Level BL3ag facility. The contractor and all sub-contractors shall be subject to a background investigation to determine the personnel suitability required to access BL3ag facilities. The contractor shall have a favorably adjudicated background investigation prior to assuming duties. The Government estimates the cost of construction between $25,000 and $100,000.
